She only wanted to renew her driver’s license, but when the officials noticed a scar on her wrist and her tattoo, they began looking at her with suspicion. Suddenly she is trapped, forced to answer personal questions and exposed to insinuations. The camera captures the growing uneasiness with clinical precision.

Mathijs, 42, is an avid member of the hardcore world. A rough and harsh life at first sight, but he found warmth there he couldn’t find elsewhere. Unfortunately life is not an ever ongoing party, and Matthijs’ loneliness comes back to haunt him. It affects his relationship with his friend René. He locks himself up in his attic, dreaming of his long lost passion to become a world class pianist. He decides to pick up the pieces and bring back life in his piano playing fingers again.
