One morning, a girl, who lives with her mother in a small-town, notices that the rubble is being removed from the field outside her window. This realization prompts her to reassess her life and the environment she lives in, as she spends most of her time in her room.

Nico (United States) by Max Olson
Nico is a surreal drama that follows a recently transitioned trans man throughout one night as he struggles to be seen as himself. When his grieving elderly neighbor, Helen, mistakes him for her recently deceased husband, Nico is offered a ready-made masculine identity to slip into and a connection begins to form. However, when Nico finds Helen in his apartment and this identity becomes a reality, Nico must confront his relationship to gender and being perceived.

When Mila learns from her best friend that she will have sex for the first time tonight, she panics. To keep up with the experience, she organizes an overnight date with her former school friend Jonas. In the course of the afternoon, the two get closer and when Mila realizes that she is not ready for this kind of intimacy after all, it is too late.

Blue, Woman, Dress (Germany) by Jinhyun Kim
Blue, Woman, Dress explores an unprecedented family catastrophe in an essayistic manner without displaying it. Her childhood memories of a plane crash with her relatives on board, which was reported by the media, remain vague. In addition to the trauma of the catastrophe, her memory is haunted by the image of a woman's dress flapping in the wind.
